Andy Warhol

ANDY WARHOL born Andrew Warhola Jr. on August 6, 1928 in Pittsburgh. He quickly became the leading figure among pop artists in the 1960s, and is today considered one of the most significant artists of the last century. He created a total of over 10,000 works of art between 1961, when he gave up his career as a graphic designer and became an artist, until his sudden death in 1987.

He was an American artist, film director, and producer. His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, advertising, and celebrity culture that flourished by the 1960s, and span a variety of media, including painting, silkscreening, photography, film, and sculpture.

Granolitography
The Granolitho printing process is a patented, screen-less artistic printing process based on the techniques of light printing. The screen-less litho structure in numerous colours enables a perfect and colour-fast reproduction of a work of art.
