About the artwork
"I made this calendar inspired by the calm and beauty I’ve found here in Norway. The flowers reflect how it feels to grow, to bloom, and to find color in new places. They’re drawn in close, showing the small details that remind me how growth often happens quietly. The colors come together softly, giving it a feeling of balance, hope, and good energy. I printed it using the risograph, a technique I really loved working with because it feels like a mix between digital and manual, where each print turns out unique, never exactly the same as the one before or the next."

RISO
The Risograph printing process is a unique, eco-friendly, stencil-based artistic printing technique that uses soy-based inks. This method allows for vibrant, layered prints with a distinctive texture. Unlike traditional offset or digital printing, the Risograph produces each color separately, often resulting in slight misalignments that give each print a one-of-a-kind, handcrafted feel. Its capability for high-contrast and bold color reproduction makes it ideal for creating limited edition art prints, offering both sustainability and aesthetic appeal.
